Is a really really good album. I bought it the day it came out, liked it, moved on. However, I’ve spent the last few days just looping it over and over, and it is really really good.

Everyone needs to check it out

Paul MF’in Mccartney To Play Coachella

February 4th, 2009 Author: admin

Everyone’s favorite rocker is set to play one of the largest musical festivals in America. I find it odd that this is a controversial choice. I know Coachella is supposed to be “hip and artsy”, but Mccartney is a cool dude…seriously.

I’ll admit it, some of Paul’s some from the  80s was a bit cheesy. But it was the bloody 80’s, what do you expect?? Everyone sucked! Paul’s last three pop albums have been nothing short of fantastic. There definitely aren’t any silly love songs to be found.  Even as a Beatle, the cute beatle was under appreciated. He didn’t ever do a “Revolution 9″, but he brought a progressive avant garde edge to several songs. Whether it was the poetic lyrics of Penny Lane, the smooth and electric Eleanor Rigby, or half of freakin SGT PEPPER, Mccartney transformed pop culture to another level.

If the hip kids aren’t able to appreciate the genius that is Paul Mccartney, I’ll guarantee that their other musical heroes will be lining up to meet the Maestro!

Geezer to save indie rock?
